Obama - "Put Him Up Against Wall & Shoot Him": Ex-Generals Advocate Coup While Militia Group Advocates Assassination

Republicans have become obsessed not with simply impeaching or imprisoning President Obama, but with killing him. And they are quite open about their desires. We just saw how a pair of former generals have dishonored their uniforms by saying Obama must be forcibly removed from office and how a Christian militia group claimed that Jesus and the Second Amendment gives them the right to shoot Obama.

Documentary producer, Tariq Nasheed, shows how old video, video from Britain, video of lone adult and teenage attackers, and random video from around the US - has been edited together to make it appear as though there is a "new" game among African-American youth called "The Knockout Game."

The 'Knockout Game' Is A Myth: Excerpts

The "Knockout Game" is a Dream Come True for Racist White Conservatives

I share no sense of linked fate with Marvell Weaver, the hoodlum who was arrested for playing the "knockout game" and then decided to do an interview with the local news about his exploits.

After watching Weaver's pathetic explanation for the logic of his crime, I am left wondering what happened to shame?

Right-wing trolls are doing their best to play up the foolishness called the "knockout game". It is a new moral panic that combines white anxieties about black criminality, fear of black young people, and stereotypes about "African-American violence" which have been cultivated by white supremacists since Reconstruction.

The emails, comments, and stories on Right-wing websites about the faux moral panic "knockout game" phenomena are not rooted in a fair concern about crime and youth brigandry. Rather, the "knockout game" meme is rooted in a pathologically white racist obsession with "black crime"--what is alone and unique in its distinction, as white privilege has disallowed any discussion of "white crime" in America's public discourse.

60 Minutes Reporter Who Got Burned Airing a Right-Wing Narrative About the Benghazi Embassy Assault - Was Staunch Advocate for a Revenge Attack on Libya

Davies book was pulled
from the market.
Author Dylan Davies was touted by 60 Minutes as a reliable 'witness' to the Benghazi embassy attack. The CBS news program was using Davies to promote the right-wing narrative that the Obama Administration was 'hiding something' about the embassy attack, but Davies turned out to be lying concerning his whereabouts the day of the attack.

Lara Logan (left) and Davies. CBS provided Davies a global
platform for his lies.
Mr. Davies was on 60 Minutes to promote his new book about the embassy attack. The book was published by Simon & Schuster, which is owned by CBS' parent company Viacom.

Lara Logan, a 60 Minutes correspondent and one of the key reporters on the 60 Minutes Benghazi story, was a staunch advocate for a revenge attack on Libya and her opinions about 'getting back at Libyans' for the Benghazi embassy attack appears to have clouded her judgement on the story. Davies Book is no longer for sale: did he lie merely to sell books? Was 60 Minutes attempting to attract right-wing viewers by airing a right-wing narrative of the Benghazi embassy assault?

Lara Logan expresses her feelings for revenge during
a speech before the Better Government Association
in October 2012.
